UHS Class of 74 – 50th Reunion Dinner – Last Call to Register!
July 31st Deadline Approaches!
This is your last call to register! You have until next Wednesday, July 31, 2024 to register for the reunion dinner. There are two ways to register – see the information below.
There are two reunion events scheduled for our 50th Class Reunion. The first event is a “Meet & Greet” on Friday, August 9th – starting at 6pm. It will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church located at . Water and light refreshments will be provided. You may bring your own beverage if you wish. Weather permitting, the event will be held outside in a casual setting where you can mingle with other classmates.
The second of our reunion events: We are NOW taking reservations for our Reunion Dinner on August 10th at 6:30pm at the Elks Lodge of Vernal, located at 35 N 300W. Be there on time to get your photo taken.
There are three food options to choose from – Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Blue and Vegetarian. Come alone or bring your spouse or a guest. The reservation deadline is July 31, 2024. Please reserve your dinner before the deadline. You can register with a credit card or PayPal account on our website at https://uhsclassof74.com/dinner-registration. All reservations must be received before July 31, 2024 so the caterers have time to prepare.
Donations
There are four donation opportunities. The first is our Food Donation Drive. We give these donations to a local food bank for those in need in our community. Please bring a canned or packaged food item for our Food Donation Drive. We will be receiving them at both events.
The second donation is for our Memorial Flower Fund. We have lost 48 of our classmates, that we know of, over the years, and we use this fund to send flowers or specific donations as requested by the deceased’s family – in the name of the Uintah High School Class of ’74. You can make those donations directly on our website at this link: https://uhsclassof74.com/memorial-flower-donation/. You can use the QR code on that web page to send the donation via Venmo directly to Judy Kurtz, who is a custodian of this fund. If you use the Venmo option, please include this note: “Memorial Flower Fund”.
The third donation opportunity is for you to give a raffle item away. You can use the form at this link to submit your donation item. We will include it in the raffle at our dinner event on August 10th. We ask that the item have a value of $25 or more, and a clear description of the item. https://uhsclassof74.com/raffle-donation/
The fourth way to donate is to purchase Raffle Tickets for our Reunion Fund. You can see what has been donated at the bottom of the form at this link: https://uhsclassof74.com/raffle-tickets/ – This fund is used to pay for marketing our reunion events, and to pay for the event materials.
